Today I have taken the audio from Rep Dillon as well as a couple of clips from Night Shift. The subject is Bolger’s retaliation against Dems after the Democratic leadership issued a press release criticizing Republicans for walking out on people with disabilities.
Special thanks to Night Shift with Tony Trupiano.
Today we talk about:
- Jase Bolger’s pattern of silencing voices they do not like
- We saw the same thing in #vaginagate
- The Republicans listen to special interests, but not to the accident victims who showed up to testify
- The Democrats represent the majority of the public and it’s our job to speak up for the public.
- There’s a line that you cross when you decide there are things more important than listening to people who have come to testify.
- This is a distraction from the No-Fault debate
- Everyone should be outraged.
- This is a demonstration that the GOP is NOT interested in a debate about No-Fault reform.
- This can only be described as the behavior of a bully.

5 Minute Activism:
Ask 1-3 people if they have registered to vote and if they plan on voting in 2014. You don’t have to get into a political conversation or ask who they are voting for or anything else that might be uncomfortable. This is just to remind people and to raise awareness of voting.
